British Lacrosse Recognises Kate Nelson Lee

British Lacrosse would like to extend its sincere thanks to Kate Nelson Lee as she concludes her time in the role as team manager for the Women´s Sixes Team.

Over the past five years, Kate has made a significant contribution across both coaching and managerial roles, supporting the women’s programme both on and off the field. Her versatility, commitment, and athlete centric approach have been invaluable in helping to deliver high-quality environments for athletes and staff.

During her tenure, Kate played an important role in helping navigate the sport through a period of evolution, joining the organisation at a time when Sixes lacrosse was introduced to the global stage.  She played a pivotal role in supporting the adoption of the new format across programs and planning structures, whilst overseeing multiple overseas tours, including two World Games campaigns.  Always with high operational performance standards and athlete support at the heart of everything that she does.

Kate’s impact has been felt across coaching, operations, and programme development, where her passion and tireless commitment helped strengthen the foundations of British Lacrosse during an important period of growth and transition.

We are extremely grateful for the energy, leadership, and care Kate has brought to every role she has undertaken, and we thank her for her dedication to the Women´s Sixes Team.

Everyone at British Lacrosse wishes Kate the very best in her next chapter.
