In recognition of outstanding service – Ailsa Stott
British Lacrosse would like to extend sincere thanks to Ailsa Stott for her outstanding service as Interim Head Coach.
Ailsa has been a respected and influential figure within our sport for many years, both as an exceptional international player and as a dedicated coach. Her leadership and experience have been invaluable during this period of transition, and we are grateful for the energy and expertise she has brought to the role.
As one of the first coaches to help drive forward the British Lacrosse 6s programme, her insight, passion, and professionalism have played a pivotal role in shaping the team’s progress and success. Thanks to her vision and commitment, we find ourselves in a stronger position as we move closer to the Olympic Games.
As British Lacrosse continues to evolve and strengthen its performance and coaching structures, we now look to the future and hope that Ailsa will continue to contribute to our journey to LA28. She will also contribute to the game through her work with Scotland Lacrosse, as they prepare for the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship.
We thank Ailsa for her service, her excellence, and her continued commitment to the growth of lacrosse in Britain.
