British Lacrosse Appoints Alex Carnegie-Brown as new high-performance coach.

British Lacrosse is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Carnegie-Brown as High Performance Coach, leading our journey towards the LA28 Olympic Games.

Through an incredibly competitive recruitment process, Alex´s experience and passion for Lacrosse shone through, impressing selectors with her vision, leadership, and commitment to developing world-class players and performance environments.

With an impressive professional background at Procter & Gamble, and first-hand experience of the game both as a player and a coach, Alex will have an immediate impact as she takes leadership of the coaching team for the British Lacrosse Women’s 6s Team.

It is a true privilege to lead the women’s British Lacrosse team on the journey to LA28. The Olympics mark an extraordinary moment for our sport, and I feel honoured to play a part in this chapter. I am excited to bring my passion and vision to building a program where athletes can thrive, challenge limits and deliver performances to make our mark on the Olympic stage.

 

British Lacrosse are excited about the direction of the women’s coaching programme, now to be under Alex´s guidance.  This marks the first step in a wider series of coaching appointments as we continue to expand and strengthen our high-performance coaching team.

Alex joins the women´s team effective immediately and turns her attention to the 6s European Championships in Spain in November 2026.
